The VFW Auxiliary works to honor and a make a difference in the lives of veterans, service members and their families. One way we do this is through the VFW "Buddy”® Poppy Program.

The "Buddy”® Poppy:

This is a Program near the heart of the VFW Auxiliary. This organization has made it a focus to promote and supports the VFW "Buddy”® Poppy Program.

The VFW conducted its first Poppy distribution before Memorial Day in 1922, becoming the first veterans’ organization to organize a nationwide distribution. The "Buddy”® Poppy Program also partially supports the VFW National Home, which is now its own Program.
