Voice of Democracy One of the best ways’ members can support their VFW Post is through the VFW Essay Contests that are comprised of Voice of Democracy for grades 9–12 and Patriots Pen for grades 6–8. Auxiliary members should assist in getting the information for this outstanding program to others in their communities. The purpose of the Auxiliary is to support the VFW, and this is one activity that needs further publicity and backing.
